Jenny Urruty - About Me

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) with a post graduate masters degree in Humanistic Person-centred Psychotherapy. I am also a member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have a number of years clinical experience working with both individuals and couples from a variety of organisational settings including GP surgeries, Health Centres, Media industry (both national and local organisations) Alcohol Services, Carers Federation and the Criminal Justice System on a wide range of life transitions and changes including:

    In addition, my previous business background inspires me to have an interest in work related matters such as coping with redundancy, workplace bullying and stress.

    I have also undertaken specialist training that complies with the Drug and Alcohol National Occupational Standards. This enables me to provide practical advice and support for those individuals who are having problems related to alcohol and its effects. This may be their own drinking or by the drinking of someone close to them.
